Adult Ministry Opportunities

FBCH offers many options for Adults to come together to fellowship, learn, and serve.
Sunday morning Bible classes, 9:15-10:15a:

College & Career Class

Our young adult ministry mission is to develop a community of young adults rising up with passion for God and compassion for people. Some of the most significant decisions of life are made during these years. We realize the importance and life-long significance of this stage in life, making this ministry exciting and powerful. This class develops discipleship relationships and facilitates discussions that encourage each adult to impact our world for our Savior.                                                      Education South, Room 101

20’s & 30’s Class

Married and single adults in their 20s-30s come together for a Bible study particularly geared for their age and life situations.                            Education North, Room 103

Parents of School-Age Children Class

This class will guide you through Jesus-centered parenting in a child centered world, leading to a greater understanding of God’s design for parents and families.                                                                    Education North, Room 102

Discipleship Training Class

A discipleship course for new believers as well as any Christian who might want to understand the role of discipleship in their lives. Anyone interested in this class will need to call the church office to sign up.    Adult One Building, Room A-3

LOAFers (Learning Over the Age of Forty)

Married and single adults come together for prayer, Bible study, and discussions of relevant topics in today’s world.                            Education South, Room 102

SALT (Sharing and Learning Together)

A fellowship of adults typically 40+ in a comfortable learning environment which encourages class participation in searching for deeper understanding of God’s word.

Trailblazers Class is made up of couples and singles from 55 years on up, a group of people who enjoy loving and caring for each other, praying for each other and studying God’s word together.                              Education North, Room 101

Adult 1

Senior adults (65+) from every walk of life come together for a time of Bible study, favorite hymns, prayer, and fellowship. Within the class operates a Prayer Chain which communicates needs and praises through the congregation, a tremendous ministry to our church and community. Annual parties and occasional lunch gatherings enhance the strong fellowship of this group.

WOW – Women of the Word

Women of all ages meet for Bible studies ranging from specific focus on particular books of the Bible to more current Bible study programs which may also include videos and, of course, great discussion.                          Education North, Room A-2

In addition to Sunday Bible Classes, Adults also have the following opportunities to be involved:


Happy Hearts 55+

A lively 55+ group meets regularly for various trips, BBQs, game times, Bible Study, and more. 

Women’s Ministry

Our Women’s Ministry has activities throughout the year including the Parade of Tables and the Women’s Retreat. You can find more information on the Women’s Ministry page.

Why Sunday School?

Find out at the Sunday School Open House January 27th @ 9:15.
You are invited to visit the different classes on campus. Parents are invited to attend their children’s classes or pop in for a few minutes. Refreshments will be served in the large group room of the children’s building. Adult classes will have refreshments in their classrooms.

King’s Daughter Tea & Brunch

February 2nd from 10 – Noon
Join us for a tea party for all ladies, grand-mothers, mothers, girls and single women young and old. Bring your favorite brunch dish. There will be a photo wall available for pictures . Kay Stinnett will be our speaker. RSVP childcare birth-2nd grade.

Decision Counseling

January 27th @ 6PM
This class is for you if you want more information on how to counsel those who come forward during the church service or how to share Christ with someone.

Ladies Evening Bible Study

Starts January 24th @ 6:30pm in the Youth Center
The study will be “Esther, It’s Tough Being A Woman” by Beth Moore
Cost of the book is $16
